Dr. Oğuzcan Bülbül

Dr. M. Oguzcan Bulbul graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of Political Sciences, Department of Business Administration with honors in 2001. In the same year, he took office as “Assistant Competition Specialist" after coming first at the five-stage entrance exam held by the Competition Authority, in which 1,080 candidates participated.

Promoted to the position of Competition Specialist in 2005, Dr. M. Oguzcan Bulbul worked on cases in industries that fall under the responsibility of the First Department of Inspection and Implementation at the Competition Authority. In 2009, he completed a master's program on "International Energy Policy and Management" at Columbia University, Faculty of International Relations and Public Administration with high honors, and subsequently returned to Türkiye. In 2018, he received his Ph.D at Hacettepe University, Faculty of Business Administration, Department of Finance with a thesis titled "The Effect of Competition Fines on Public Companies' Stock Prices”, and earned the title of doctor.

At Anadolu Efes as Corporate Relations and Competition Compliance Director, he successfully managed all legal compliance risks, especially as regards competition law, communication activities, and sustainability strategies for almost nine years as the youngest executive in the company's history, before resigning in 2019, to take office as Executive Secretary General and “Public Affairs, Sustainability and Communications Director” at Abdi İbrahim.  

As of January 2024, Dr. M. Oguzcan Bulbul has been appointed as a Executive Board Member and Vice President of Human Resources, Communications and Sustainability.
